Story

Story

Story, the way we explain others and ourselves. the way we comprehend reality, how we mediate it; It's all a matter of story.

What is the story of traditional literacy? Can the essence of  literacy be defined as the ability to apprehend, comprehend and communicate the story?

In story, we play with words/modes of conveyance. Words are the building blocks of reality. If speech is indeed, only 23% verbal, how many other ways are there to get the story.

How might literacy be re-defined, re-visioned for a global/digital world venue of inclusively?

  • Good question. Literacy is an active, evolving event, constantly influenced by context and invention. Best of luck!
